学会简介

上海市生物化学与分子生物学学会（Shanghai Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, 简称 SSBMB）成立于1961年12月，其前身为上海市生物化学会。上海市生物化学与分子生物学学会是在上海市科学技术协会指导下从事生物化学与分子生物学研究、教学工作的科研人员的地方性学术团体，挂靠中国科学院分子细胞科学卓越创新中心，现有会员2849人。在学科建设、学术交流、科学普及、人才推荐等方面开展了大量的工作，荣获上海市科协“三星级学会”、上海市民政局“3A级学会”的称号。由其主办的年度青年学术论坛连续多年被评为“上海市科协学术年会优秀组织单位”。学会每年5月的科普月活动，已成为公众参与度高、社会影响力大的学会科普品牌活动。并向各类奖项推荐了大量优秀的科技人才。

学会每四年进行一次换届，由会员代表大会选举产生下一届理事会。现为第十五届理事会（2023.9-20279），共有理事45名，现任理事长为中国科学院分子细胞科学卓越创新中心陈剑峰研究员。 

学会宗旨
开展国内外学术交流与合作，普及科学技术知识，促进科技成果的转化与应用以及与全国生物化学与分子生物学会及各省市生物化学与分子生物学会开展业务和学术交往。

Brief Introduction
Shanghai Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SSBMB) was founded in 1961. As one of the most influential societies of life sciences in Shanghai, SSBMB is committed to the advancement of biochemistry and molecular biology. With over 2800 members working in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology, SSBMB provides many platforms for all the members, such as Annual Youth Congress, which is held yearly (about 150 attendees for each meeting), First Talk Forum, where first authors share their research stories and foundings; And some public science popularization activities that focus on teenagers and citizens.
